Natasha Stuart (left, Delta Goodrem, centre, and bottom right) passed away from breast cancer at age 43 on Wednesday, surrounded by family at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. The Voice Australia 2019 contestant was diagnosed in July 2018 and underwent 20 weeks of chemotherapy. In an interview last year, Stuart encouraged women to ‘take hold’ of their health and get checked ‘immediately’ if they find something unusual. ‘Do not take a second to think about going to a doctor – even if it’s something that you’re scared of,’ she said. Natasha’s mother (together, top right) died when the singer was just 14 years old after losing her own battle with breast cancer.
